Double Barrelled Taproom


Did you miss the Number Seventeen beer from Double Barrelled last week? Apparently it sold out in no time at all. This week Double Barrelled launch their traditional summer IPL, Cagoule – a cross between an IPA and a lager. Also launched was BA Reach, Double Barrelled’s second small batch barrel aged beer. Unfortunately it sold out in hours, so if you want to catch similar beers in future, join their mailing list.

Elusive Taproom



Elusive have 6% off all month for their 6th birthday using the code DUELOFIRON, and an interesting pair of beers to spend it on – DUEL OF IRON, which is available as a West Coast Double IPA, and as a Double Black IPA.

Siren Tap Yard


Siren launch two new lagers this week – Starry Messenger, lagered in Chardonnay barrels, and Off Beat, a collaboration with Crisp Maltings to produce a golden-blond Pilsner lager.

The Haunt at Phantom


If you are going to watch Reading play on Saturday, bring your ticket to Phantom for a free pint of their Reading beer. Plus bring along food and toiletries for Readifood food bank if you can.

Bracknell Beer Festival

The Bracknell Ale & Cider festival is back on the 4th June. Tickets here. Trains from Reading to Martin’s Heron leave every half hour and cost just £6 for a return, so it’s a fantastic replacement for Reading beer festival this year.

Twyford beer festival is on the 10th and 11th June. Tickets here. Also just a short train journey from Reading every 10 to 20 minutes.

Craft Theory Festival
