I’m not saying it’s quiet this week, but one of the big news stories is the roadworks near Siren. But that doesn’t mean your favourite pubs and taprooms don’t have some amazing beers on still for your work events, so check out the details below. Double Barrelled Taproom


It’s hard enough coming up with new beer every week, but finding new names for new beer every week must be even harder. Double Barrelled have done it again though, and this week’s new beer release is Dreaming in Colour, a hazy IPA featuring Mosaic, Galaxy and Idaho 7.

Friday: 5pm – 8:30 pm. Chilli by Spotty Badger.
Saturday: 1pm – 8:30 pm.

Elusive Taproom


Elusive have two new beers this week – Nexus Imperial Stout, which is available as two different variants, a Raspbery variant, and Tonka & Vanilla variant. Get them in the taproom or order online with the code TRYANUARY for 10% off.

Loddon Tap Yard


If you’re a fan of smokey beers, you’re in luck. Shmoke Shtack, a dark smokey porter makes its return to the taproom this week.

Friday: 9am-9pm. Food by Cliq Catering. Reservations possible
Saturday: 10am-9pm. Food by Fat Tabby. Reservations possible.
Sunday: 10am-6pm. Reservations possible
Tuesday 9am-5pm. Reservations possible

Siren Tap Yard


Siren have just brewed some lovely beers with Azacca hops, including Sold My Soul For Azacca and Suspended in Azacca. Note the limited hours because of roadworks.

Friday: noon-6pm. Pizza by Siren. Reservations possible
Saturday noon-6pm. Canadian food by Funky Pickle. Reservations possible
Sunday noon-6pm. Pizza by Siren. Walk-in only
Wednesday noon-8pm. 20% off wine every Wednesday in January. Pizza by Siren. Walk-in only
Thursday noon-8pm. Pizza by Siren. Walk-in only. Plus 7- 8:30, learn to make coffee with Project Barista partners Anonymous Coffee. Tickets £10.

Phantom taproom is closed until 21st Jan, although you can still try new beer from their webstore.
