This is the last update before Christmas, and it’s a bumper 8 day update to take us up to Christmas Eve. Not everyone is rushing out to the pub at the moment, so if you are ill, might be ill, or are in danger of getting ill, stay at home and order some Christmas beers from one of our amazing local breweries. Double Barrelled Taproom
If you are after beer for Christmas, Double Barrelled are now selling min-kegs of their most popular beers, plus cans for takeaway and local delivery for orders up until midnight on the 22nd.
This week’s new beer release is Wave Theory, a session pale ale which is on cask only at the Fox and the Nags.

Loddon Tap Yard
Loddon have now opened their new farmshop to make more room for inside seating, so pop along and get takeaway cans and fresh beer will be delivered locally on the 23rd and 24th. Plus there’s the outside covered area and the outside uncovered area, so you can choose whatever level of ventilation you want.

The Haunt at Phantom
Phantom are opening their doors next week for drink in, and takeaway of cans and growler fills, and have a new 7.7% IPA, Alien Abduction, brewed in collaboration with local beer legend Tim Lloyd.

West Berkshire Brewery
The West Berkshire shop is open longer hours for takeaways, with 10L and 20L Minipins or Polypins of their flagship beers available in the taproom. Pre-order by the 19th December.
